I Do Not Have the Credit Score For That

I decided to stop pursuing a lifestyle and it is the best decision I ever made in my life.
I feel more confident in myself.
I no longer have to prove my worth
And simply being me is all that is.
For the first time in my life I do not have to answer to the expectations of my caregivers.
I take with me the wisdom Audre Lorde imparted, and I paraphrase, that one has to define
themself for themself or they will die under the pressure of the fantasies from others.
I learned that if one is caught up with what family and society thinks, one is off course.
one will make the change, or the world will make it the only option for survival.
